Getting to Armenia
You're welcome to travel whenever it fits your schedule best.
Best direct flight options
- Dortmund (DTM).
- On Wednesday, you fly at 10:00 and arrive in Armenia around 16:00, and you can fly back on Saturday.
- That same evening we have the BBQ together. A lot of people will take this flight, so there will also be options for carpooling.
- Amsterdam (AMS).
- If you fly from Amsterdam on Wednesday 21 October, you'll arrive early in the morning of 22 October.
- The ceremony is on 22 October at 14:00, so you'll have plenty of time to settle in.

Wednesday 21 October, departs Dortmund at 09:55 and lands in Yerevan at 16:15. Just in time for the evening BBQ.

The airport
All international flights arrive at Zvartnots International Airport (EVN), about 15 km west of central Yerevan. The airport is small and modern, with quick immigration for most European passports.
From the airport to your hotel
A taxi to central Yerevan costs around 2,500-4,000 AMD (~€6-10) and takes 20 minutes. Use Yandex Go or GG (both available in the App Store / Play Store) for reliable, metered rides.
Visa & entry
EU and Schengen passport holders don't need a visa for stays up to 180 days. Please check your own country's rules before booking.
Good to know
Most flights from Amsterdam depart overnight, so you'll land early morning. The ceremony is on Thursday 22 October at 14:00, so there's plenty of time to rest and explore before the wedding. There's also an optional welcome BBQ on Wednesday 21 October for anyone arriving early.
